Description
This is a mid-19th century thatched cottage located on Shaftesbury Road. The front of the building is brick, while the sides are flint with brick detailing. It is two storeys high and has three ranges of two-light casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor features two segmental-headed windows. A four-panel door is located on the side, sheltered by a simple bracketed hood. A chimney is positioned on the left-hand side of the building. The roof has a catslide section at the rear and a hip on the right side. The building possesses group value – it contributes significantly to the character of the surrounding area.
