Description
23 St John's Square is a mid-18th century building that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of brick and features a first-floor string course. The eaves are adorned with an offset and dentil cornice. The roof is covered with old tiles, including a band of fishscale tiles, and has raised verges with footstones and flanking chimneys. The façade consists of five bays, each with 2-light casement windows that have 19th-century lights and stone key blocks. The central entrance is a six-panelled door, with the upper panels being glazed, and is topped by a pediment hood supported by heavy cut brackets.
