Description

29 West Street is an early to mid-19th century building that stands two storeys high. It is possibly a former verger's cottage. The structure is made of painted brick with flush stone quoins on the left side, while the ground floor is rendered. It features a slate roof with flat eaves and a prominent gable end chimney on the left, which has a pair of diagonally set stacks. The gable end is constructed of stone and includes a coped verge and kneeler facing the street. On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows. The ground floor contains a glazed door and a large modern shop window with multiple panes. At the rear, there is a two-storey extension.
