Description

The war memorial, located on the south-west side of West Street, was erected in the early 20th century to honor those who died in the First World War, with an additional plaque commemorating the Second World War. It features a tall Corinthian column topped with a cross, standing on a high plinth that includes dentil moulding and is accessed by two steps.
