Description

34 West Street is a building dating from before 1845, standing at 2 and a half storeys tall. It is constructed from red and occasional blue brick, set on a projecting plinth. The gable end faces the road, featuring a coped gable with kneelers. The building has round-headed sash windows, with two on the ground floor and one on the first floor, as well as a casement window in the attic. All windows are framed with simple stone architrave surrounds, bracketted cills, and keys. The returns of the building have brick block cornices, with two panels on the east side and three windows along with a door on the west side. The roof is tiled, featuring one ridge chimney and one off-ridge chimney.
