Description
The Thatched Cottage is a 18th-century cottage, which was formerly two separate cottages. It is constructed of white painted flint with brick dressings and has a rendered first floor. The building features a half hipped thatched roof and stands two storeys tall, with a stack located at the rear.
On the first floor, there is a central three-light casement window with panelled shutters, flanked by two two-light casement windows, also with panelled shutters. The ground floor has three two-light segmental headed casement windows with panelled shutters. To the right, there are French casements, and to the left, a boarded door, both of which are sheltered by rustic thatched gabled porches.
Additionally, there is a one-storey lean-to on the left side made of white painted brick, featuring a thatched roof and a two-light casement window at the front, which also has panelled shutters.
