Description
Shooter's Hill Cottage is a cottage that dates from the late 17th century, with a refacing from the late 18th century. There are 19th-century additions to the rear and a 20th-century addition to the right. The cottage is timber framed, with later red brick facing and additional red brick sections to the right and rear. It has an old tile roof that is half hipped to the left. The building is L-shaped, consisting of two framed bays and a gabled wing that projects to the rear on the left side. It is one and a half storeys tall, featuring two gabled eaves dormers with two-light leaded casements, as well as end stacks and a stack to the rear on the left. On the ground floor, there are two segmental-headed three-light leaded casements flanking a blocked central door. The entrance is located at the left-hand end of the wing to the rear and in the right-hand gable end. There is a single-storey 20th-century addition to the right, which has two three-light casements on the front.
