Description
Heatherdene is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a refacing from the 19th century. It is timber framed, featuring later red and grey brick refacing, a tile-hung gable end on the south side, and a rendered gable end on the north side. The cottage has an old tile roof with a catslide over an outshot at the rear, two gabled dormers with casement windows, and an off-centre ridge stack to the right. The entrance has been altered and consists of three framed bays. The building is one and a half storeys tall, with two 19th-century three-light segmental-headed casements on the right side, a blocked doorway beneath the stack, and a segmental-headed doorway with a boarded door to the left. The timber frame is partly exposed at the rear.
