Description

The barn at Winchcombe Farm is an early 17th-century structure located on Briff Lane in Bucklebury. It features a timber frame with a brick plinth and a wall to the west, topped by a roof made of weatherboarding and corrugated asbestos. The barn consists of three framed bays with an aisle on the west side and a midstray on the east side. Inside, there are queen strut trusses supported by longitudinal and transverse bracing, as well as windbraces. Additionally, there is one 19th-century framed bay to the north, which also has weatherboarding and a corrugated asbestos roof.
