Description
Green's Old Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1600 and the 17th century, with 20th-century additions. It features a timber frame with brick nogging and some brick refacing, topped with an old tile roof. The building has a central gabled cross wing and an off-centre gabled dormer to the left, which contains a 3-light casement window. The farmhouse has a T-plan layout with four framed bays and a one-bay wing extending to the rear. It is one storey and has an attic.
The entrance is through a 20th-century boarded door located beneath the stack, which is off-centre to the left. To the right of the door is a small 20th-century casement window, while to the left, there is a 4-light 20th-century casement beneath the gable. The far left features a 2-light leaded casement. On the first floor, there is a 3-light leaded casement in the cross wing to the right, positioned above a 4-light leaded casement on the ground floor.
To the right, there is a 20th-century addition that is set back, constructed of brick with a tile roof and a gabled dormer containing a 3-light casement. This addition has one and a half storeys, with a door to the left and a 4-light casement to the right. Inside, there is a contemporary fireplace.
