Description
Bottom House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with 19th and 20th century additions to the rear. The building is timber framed with brick nogging and partial brick facing, topped by an old tile roof featuring end stacks. There is also a stack on the addition at the rear, and two tile-hung gabled semi-dormers with leaded cross windows. The farmhouse has two framed bays and is one and a half storeys high at the front, increasing to two storeys at the rear.
On the west front, the first floor has a two-light 20th century leaded casement window to the right. The central ground floor features a one-light 20th century leaded casement, with a three-light 20th century leaded casement to the left and a four-light 20th century leaded casement to the right. There is also a 20th century one-storey brick addition projecting to the right, which has a gabled tile roof and leaded French casements.
