Description
Bridge House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with 19th-century additions to the rear. It is constructed of red brick and features gauged window heads, a plinth, and a plat band with a moulded bottom edge. The building has a moulded brick eaves cornice beneath an old tile roof, which has parapeted gable ends, end stacks, and two gabled dormers with two-light casements. The house is two storeys high and has five bays, with glazing bar sashes that have exposed wooden boxes. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with glazed upper panels, a rectangular over-light, and a plain surround. There is a 19th-century porch with two circular columns, lattice sides, and a gabled tile roof. To the left, there is a one-storey 19th-century addition made of red brick, featuring a moulded brick eaves cornice and an old tile hipped roof with a stack at the rear, as well as one segmental headed glazing bar sash.
