Description

A range of three cottages dating to around the 18th century, with later alterations. The walls are of plastered cob construction, set upon a brick plinth. The roofs are thatched and hipped, with brick stacks marking the axial positions and ends. The cottages present an asymmetrical five-window facade. The windows are predominantly single- and two-light casements; one early 19th-century casement remains, retaining its original glazing. Number 41, on the right-hand side, features two-light casements with small panes of glass. A glazed door is positioned on the left-hand side. In front of numbers 39 and 41, there is a later outshut built of brick, with a slate lean-to roof. The interior of the cottages has not been inspected.
