Description
The Grove monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 3 metres north of the nave of the Church of St Katherine. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of limestone, sitting on a plinth. The tomb features reeded corner pilasters and has one inscription panel on each side, topped with a moulded flat surface. The monument commemorates George Grove of East Hayes, who died in 1838.
