Description
Sedgehill Grange is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a hipped tiled roof with stone stacks. The building is designed in an L-plan and is two stories high with three windows across the front. There is a half-glazed door located in a trellised porch to the left of the center, and to the right are two pairs of 8-pane sash windows. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows and one 12-pane sash window. The left side of the house has two 12-pane sashes on the ground floor set in segmental-headed recessed panels, and two 16-pane sashes on the first floor. The right side also features sash windows. The interior was not accessible during the survey in October 1986. The house was formerly known as Gunville House.
