Description
Hayes Barton is a detached house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a thatched roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The house is two stories tall and has three windows across the front. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door with an integral transom light, flanked by two-light casements. On the first floor, there are three two-light casements. The right side of the building has a two-light casement on the ground floor and a single-light casement on the first floor. At the rear, there is a 19th-century service wing with two-light casements and a slate roof. To the right, there is a stable with planked doors, a gabled loft door, and single-light casements. The interior was not accessible during the survey in March 1986.
