Description
Syreford Farmhouse is a detached house built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It features coursed squared and dressed limestone, a concrete tile roof, and stone stacks. The house has an 'L'-shaped plan and stands 2½ storeys tall.
On the garden front, there are two hipped dormers with 6-pane lights. The three-windowed facade includes a central 12-pane sash window on the first floor, with tripartite sashes on either side. There is a central 19th-century part-glazed and panelled door with a tripartite sash window to the right. To the left, there is a canted bay window with 12 and 16-pane sashes topped with a modillion cornice. The left return features flat-chamfered stone-mullioned casements. The wall facing the road of the rear wing has two and three-light casements with glazing bars. The gable ends have flat coping and gable end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
