Description
Sevenhampton House is a detached house dating from the 17th century and the late 18th to early 19th century. It features an ashlar facade, while the rest of the structure is made from coursed squared and dressed limestone. The roof is covered with stone slates and has stone stacks, one of which was repaired in the 20th century. The main body of the house is rectangular and includes two single-storey extensions from the late 18th to early 19th century that are positioned at right angles at the rear.
The facade is symmetrical, with two storeys and an attic that is illuminated by two 20th-century Cotswold dormers, each featuring 2-light 20th-century artificial 'stone'-mullioned windows. The facade has three windows, which are lit by wooden casements with three lights. At the front of the house, there is a central 20th-century gabled porch that contains a six-panelled door from the 19th to early 20th century, with the upper four panels being fielded. The gable ends have stacks with moulded cappings. The interior has not been inspected.
