Description

A detached cottage dating from the 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, with a stone slate roof. Originally, there were two stone stacks, but these have been repaired in brick. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high. The upper floor has two half-dormers, each with a double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement window. There are two 3-light stone-mullioned casement windows on the ground floor, one of which is 20th century, both with stopped hoods. A 19th-century four-panelled door is positioned off-centre towards the left side, and it has a flat-chamfered surround. The interior has not been inspected. This building has group value.
