Gatepiers and Walls at Maplecroft ST 86 SW 6/128A

2. C18, 2 square ashlar gatepiers set back from Bath Road to south west of the house. Approximately 8ft high with banded rustication and entablatures on top. These piers are joined to 2 small sections of ashlar walls with plain coping (approx, 2 1/2 to 3ft high), which curve out towards the road in each direction and end with flat pilasters.

Maplecroft with gatepiers and walls, No 110, and Pigeon-cote form a group.
