Description

The gatepiers located to the southeast of Manor Farm, along with the attached wall extending 3 meters on each side, are likely from the 18th century. They are constructed from ashlar and feature moulded inner corners, a moulded cornice, and a large ball finial atop a tall cap, standing approximately 3.5 meters high. The date 1709 is carved into the third stone from the ground on the right-hand pier, although it may be a reused stone. The gatepiers are connected on both sides to a brick perimeter wall of the farm, which includes a cogged dentil course beneath a triangular coping, all resting on a chamfered base.
