Description

The Dovecote and store at Manor Farm is a small store and granary with a dovecote lantern, likely built in the second half of the 16th century. It features ashlar stone on a moulded plinth and has moulded stone eaves, topped with a stone slate roof. The building is rectangular, single storey with an attic, and includes a large square timber-framed lantern serving as the dovecote, with gables on each face. The east side has a central plank door flanked by small lights, while the west wall is blind. The south end has a flight of stone steps leading up to a loft door, and the north end features a large three-light wood casement on the upper level.
