Description

Maplecroft is a house with a core dating to the late 18th century, incorporating Victorian additions. The front of the house is constructed of ashlar and faces south-west. It is two storeys high, with a moulded cornice and plain parapet. There are two string courses - a moulded one at second floor level and a plain one at first floor level. The roof is covered in pantiles. The house has three windows, with sashes retaining their original glazing bars. A central porch, supported by square section columns and featuring a room above, fronts the entrance. The porch windows have semi-circular heads, moulded architrave surrounds, keystones and imposts, and balustered aprons beneath each window. Maplecroft forms a group with its gatepiers and walls, number 110, and a pigeon-cote.
