Description

No 18 Lode Hill is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is built of Flemish bond brick and features a thatched roof with a brick stack on the left side. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a single window. To the left, there is a planked door set in a wooden chamfered case, and to the right, there is a 2-light casement window. The right side of the building has one single casement window on the ground floor and a 2-light casement in the attic. There is a 19th-century brick extension with a Welsh slate roof that includes a 3-light casement window. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in December 1984.
