Description
These stables and coach house stand to the rear of The Moot. They were built in the 18th century. The front is constructed of Flemish bond brickwork with vitrified headers, while the rear is English bond brick. The roof is tiled. The building is single-storey with a loft space and has three windows, each with two lights and casement glazing. A tall planked door with strap hinges is on the right, and a smaller planked door is on the left. A hipped dormer window with a two-light casement is visible on the roof, with a hip to the left and a half-hip to the right. The coach house to the left has double doors, a sliding door, and one planked door, all under a hipped tiled roof. A 19th-century extension, likely a tack room, projects from the rear of the stables. The interior has not been inspected.
