Description

Vine Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located at the end of a row on Downton Lode Hill. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a tiled roof with a half hip to the left and gable-end brick stacks. The cottage is two stories high and has two windows. The central door, which dates from the 20th century, has a segmental head, with a 16-pane bow sash on either side. On the first floor, there are two 9-pane sash windows. The eaves are dentilled. The left side of the cottage has a 19th-century external brick stack and a 20th-century casement window. The interior has not been inspected.
