Description
The green memorial is a chest tomb located about 7 metres south of the north gates to the churchyard of the Church of St. Michael in Melksham. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features two hexagonal fielded panels on both main sides, which are separated by fielded pilasters that include rosettes at the corners. It also has a pulvinated frieze and a corniced top. The earliest date inscribed on the memorial is 1777.
