Description

Ladybird Cottage is a 17th and 18th century cottage located in West Stowell. Originally a two-bay, 17th-century timber-framed building, it was extended by two bays in the 18th century. The cottage is constructed of timber framing with brick extensions, and has a thatched roof. The entrance is through a later brick porch containing a half-glazed door. Timber casement windows are present. A gable stack from the original 17th-century section has been incorporated with a later stack associated with the 18th-century addition.
