Description

West Stowell Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features four bays. The entrance is located within a 20th-century glazed porch. The windows include twelve and sixteen-pane sashes, as well as a nine-pane single hung window on the first floor and the rear elevation, all of which are topped with gauged brick lintels and painted raised keystones. The left bay extends beyond the end stack of a symmetrical plan, and there are extensions at both ends of the farmhouse.
