Description

10 and 11 The Green are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are built from malmstone with limestone quoins, dressings, and a wide plat band. The cottages have a thatched roof and are single storey with an attic, featuring six bays. There are central recessed porches with brick arches and timber casement windows that have leaded glazing. The buildings include six flush dormers and ashlar lintels with slightly raised keystones. There is a lean-to on the left side (No 10) and a one-bay extension to the right that extends back as a wing. Gable brick stacks are present on both cottages.
