Description

46 and 47 The Green are a pair of estate cottages built in the early 19th century. They feature squared limestone facades and a slate roof. Each cottage is two storeys high and consists of two bays with end lean-tos. There is a central through passage, which has been converted to a window. The left lean-to has been raised to two storeys under an extension of the main roof. Originally, there were gable stacks. At the center of the cottages, there is an estate insignia that consists of a lobed urn in half-relief within a recessed panel.
