Description

40 and 41 The Green are a pair of estate cottages built in the early 19th century. They feature a squared limestone facade and a slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, each consisting of two bays with end lean-tos. There are boarded doors set within 20th-century porches on the inner bays. The ground floor has mid-20th-century steel windows, while the first floor has later 19th-century casements. Both cottages have gable stacks.
