Description

Number 13 on Southgate is a two-storey cottage that is rendered and sits on a plinth. It features a gable end roof covered with tiles. The front has two camber-headed sash windows without glazing bars. There is a modern door located beneath a flat stone hood supported by iron scrolled brackets, with a passage entrance to the left. This cottage is part of a group of 18th century and early 19th century cottages located on the southern approach to Devizes, with numbers 5 to 15 forming a cohesive group.
