Description

Brewery Cottages is a row of cottages from the early 19th century located in West Malling. The front features painted grooved boarding designed to look like stone, while the sides are weatherboarded. The cottages have hipped tiled roofs and brick chimneystacks, standing two storeys high with a total of five windows. Number 1 has three sashes without glazing bars and a central doorcase that includes a dentilled cornice, a hood, pilasters, a rectangular fanlight, and a panelled door. The eaves have a flat modillioned soffit. Numbers 2 and 3 are a pair, each with one sash, although only Number 3 retains its glazing bars. They have similar doorcases to Number 1, but these are positioned at the sides rather than in the centre.
