Description

This is an 18th-century building comprising two storeys and an attic, located on Long Street. The exterior is brick, set on a projecting plinth with a stone capping. A stone coping runs along the parapet, and the roof is a Mansard hipped design covered with pantiles. There are two two-light casement windows in the attic. The first floor has five windows, with the central one blocked. The ground floor also has four windows. The recessed sash windows retain their original glazing bars in two of the first-floor windows. The windows are surrounded by plain stone and have stone sills. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a small, arched fanlight, decorated with radiating and concentric patterns. The door is set within a painted, arched recess and has a projecting keystone and impost. Nos. 8 to 30 on Long Street form a group.
