Number 1 on Treen Lane is an 18th-century cottage constructed from whitewashed rubble. It features a slate roof with gable ends and stands two storeys tall. The cottage has two windows on the first floor, which are horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars and some original glass. The ground floor has a modern casement window, and there is a modern glazed door to the left.
