Description

Number 1 on Cherry Garden Street is an 18th-century building constructed from granite rubble, topped with a slate roof that has a hipped end. The structure stands two storeys high and features two windows on the first floor, which project above the eaves and have flat heads, along with two-light casements. The ground floor includes a sash window. There are two doorways, each with a few courses of slate hanging above. This building is included for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos 1 to 5 Cherry Garden Street and also relates to Mill Leat and Nos 1 and 2 Chapel Street.
