Description

The coach house and garden wall of Number 1 Hillworth Cottages, located on the south side of Hillworth Road, date from the 19th century. The high red brick wall runs parallel to Long Street, featuring stone coping that rises to double gates at the south end and again to the coach house. The coach house itself is two storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a gable end slate roof. It has a round-headed window set in the gable facing north, which is a sash window with glazing bars and a moulded flush frame. Below this window are double round-headed doors.
