Description
Windmill Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a half-hipped thatched roof with brick stacks. The gable end faces the road and the building is single storey with an attic, having two windows. There is a planked door located in a thatched porch at the gable end facing the road, with a 3-light ovolo-mullioned casement window to the left. The attic has a 3-light renewed ovolo-mullioned casement with a hoodmould. The left side of the cottage includes a 3-light ovolo-mullioned casement with a hoodmould and a 3-light casement, along with two eyebrow dormers that each contain 2-light casements. At the rear, there is a 19th-century two-storey brick extension. The interior has not been inspected.
