Description
Corner Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a thatched half-hipped roof with a brick stack on the right side. The entrance is located at the rear of the building. The cottage is single storey with an attic and has one window. There is a central 20th-century door flanked by two-light recessed chamfered mullioned windows on either side, and a 20th-century four-light casement window in the dormer. The left side of the cottage has a two-light recessed chamfered mullioned window on the first floor. The rear includes a two-light mullioned window and two small lights, along with two 2-light casements in eyebrow dormers. The right side has an attached extension from the 1940s. Inside, the cottage features chamfered beams and exposed joists, as well as a blocked open fireplace.
