  1. Early C19. 2 storeys. Bath stone. Arched stone verandah across ground floor. Wide projecting eaves on coupled brackets. Hipped slate roof. Symmetrical pair of houses forming small terrace. Each house has 3 French casements, with narrow side glazing, on lst floor. On ground floor - 2 windows and central 6-panel door with small rectangular fanlight have been replaced by modern shop fronts. The verandah has 3 wide segmental arches in front of each house on thin stone piers with block caps, with additional coupled piers and narrow semi-circular arches between, grouped in 3 to centre of joint fronts and 1 each end, the right hand one partly cut away to form side entrance. No 3 retains pointed arched and rosetted railings above verandah, removed from No 2. Houses set back.

Nos 23 to 28 (consec), Nos 1 to 3 (consec) Albion Place and No 29 form a group.
