Description
The Townsend memorial is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 12 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St. Michael. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of limestone in the Gothic style. The tomb features a plinth with three recessed trefoil arched panels on each main side and one trefoil arched panel on each end, topped with a cornice that has a weathered appearance. The inscriptions on the memorial are not legible.
