Middle Farmhouse

Middle Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features both stone slate and slate roofs. The oldest part of the building is at the west end, which has two storeys and an attic, topped with a stone slate roof and a west stack. This section includes cyma-moulded recessed mullion windows, with one three-light window featuring a hoodmould on the ground floor and a two-light window above, present on both the north and south fronts. The west end has a two-light window on the first floor with a hoodmould, along with an attic light above.

To the east is a range that appears to be early 19th century, possibly built on an earlier core. This section is L-shaped with a lower pitched slate roof that is hipped at the northeast angle, and it has a ridge stack and a south end stack on the rear wing. The windows in this part are casement windows with brick cambered heads. The north front features three pairs of first-floor casements, a ground floor 20th-century window to the left, a triple casement in the center, and a casement pair replacing a door to the right. The rear and rear wing have similar windows, and the east front of the wing is painted.
