Description

The Mill Building at Stanley Mill is a former mill dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of ironstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a square plan and stands two storeys tall. The north front includes a first-floor window with a cambered head and a door on the ground floor to the right. The south front has a central door at first-floor level and an arched-headed opening to the right, which has a brick arch that has been infilled with small-paned glazing, likely originally intended for a water-course.
