Description

Mid to later C19 former mill, rubble stone with slate roofs. L-plan, two storeys raised on high basement. Cut grey stone quoins to SE angle. Cut stone voussoirs to camber-headed openings. S side has ground floor broad door to right of flight of steps in angle leading up to a centre loft door. S wing has one window each floor. A lower range runs S with 7-bay roof, three large openings, all enlarged. Main range has ground floor opening with scratched date 1874 on voussoir and first floor loading door.

High N wall has big later C19 iron water wheel, formerly overshot, small window above, and two windows to upper floor under eaves.

Main range has 3-bay C19 roof with wishbone trusses. Wing has similar 2-bay roof. No machinery apparently surviving within.
