Description
Penfeidr is a small gentry house built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of painted stucco and features a slate roof with renewed rendered end stacks. The front elevation is two storeys high and has three windows, which contain renewed 20-pane sash windows with slate sills. The centre of the front has a 20th-century stuccoed gabled porch, flanked by sidelights, leading to double doors with an overlight. The inner door also has an overlight, and there is a shallow modillion eaves cornice.
At the rear, there is an outshut with a 12-pane sash window on each side of a flush hipped stair tower, which has a 6-pane attic window and an arched small-paned stair-light. Below the stair light is a small 4-pane window, with a door and window to the left and a 6-pane sash window to the right. Additionally, there is a projecting 19th-century gabled one-and-a-half storey outbuilding made of rubble stone. The eastern end of the main house has a lean-to, while the western end features a service range with a 12-pane sash window below and a 6-pane sash window above.
