Description
No 6 Church Walk is an early 19th-century, three-storey house situated between Nos 5 and 7. The exterior is rendered to imitate ashlar stone. It features one range of windows, which are glazing bar sashes with flush wooden architraves. The roof is made of pantiles and has an off-ridge brick chimney stack that is stepped at the rear. There is a modern shop front added to the building.
This house is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 7 and 11 to 13 Church Walk, St James's Parish Church, the listed tombs, the Old Vestry Rooms, and Nos 46 to 48 Fore Street. Nos 2 and 7 Church Walk are noted for their local interest.
