Description
No. 20 St George's Square is a late 18th century front elevation to an earlier house constructed in ashlar. The building has two storeys and attics, topped with a stone slate roof featuring three dormers: two gabled and one centrally located with a segmental head. All dormers have casements with glazing bars. The property boasts a good dentil eaves cornice and five windows in plain reveals with moulded stone cills, all fitted with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The central doorcase is adorned with Tuscan pilasters and a pediment, leading to an eight-panel door with two glass panels. The building also features a plinth with moulded capping and two stone stacks.
