Description

No 12 High Street is a tall three-storey building with a rendered front, likely dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features a steep slate roof and has two windows with rusticated lintels. The sashes have thin glazing bars, and there is a splayed bay on the first floor to the left, supported by brackets over the entry to the rear. The building also has a later 19th-century shop front with pilasters. The house entry is located in a passage. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 6 to 10 (even), 10A and 10B, Nos 12 to 18 (even), and the Friends' Meeting House.
