Description

No 8 High Street is a three-storey building with a three-window stucco front, dating from around 1830. It features a slate roof that is hipped to the left. The building has moulded window architraves and a Greek Doric doorcase complete with columns and an entablature. There is a later shop front added to the building. It is part of a group that includes Nos 6 to 10 (even), 10A and 10B, as well as Nos 12 to 18 (even) and the Friends' Meeting House.
